On the one hand, local statistics can be misleading. Another culturally minded social media player, Martin Lindeskog points out that “The broadband/high-speed Internet connection is very common here in Sweden.” However, he also notes that “you can’t find many examples of companies that have embraced a new type of media strategy in full scale yet. There is a lot of talk about Twitter, but you don’t see many companies microblogging.” (Social Media Examiner, November 24, 2009.)

I (EGO) will conduct two courses (adult education class / study circle) on social media this autumn - winter. The organizer is Sensus, located in Gothenburg city.
